Brighton, MI -- Drink for a great cause at the Brighton Boots and Brews Pub Crawl, Saturday, November 9th from 12:00 – 6:00 PM in downtown Brighton. This event is held following the Brighton Veterans Day Parade which begins at 11:00 AM. Money raised from this public event will help local veterans and their families by funding VETLIFE’s free veteran events throughout the year. VETLIFE is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers a variety of programs, services, and events for veterans and their families.

Vice President of VETLIFE, Joe Riker said, “Boots and Brews is a fun and new way to for the public to assist in fundraising for future veteran resource events in our wonderful community.” By purchasing tickets, the attendees of Boots and Brews will have a chance to enjoy an afternoon out while supporting local veterans. Tickets permit patrons exclusive drink and food specials at a large variety of bars throughout downtown Brighton. “It’s sure to be a great time for all participants and don’t forget to wear your boots and patriotic outfit,” states Riker.

The purpose of the Brighton Boots and Brews Pub Crawl is to bring the community together for a single purpose, supporting our veterans and their families. VETLIFE President Cortnie Parish said, “We are grateful for the community’s support we’ve received already. We have over ten downtown bars participating and the Brighton Chamber of Commerce has been a great asset to us. KNE Realty 360 also really stepped up as our event sponsor and has been a great veteran advocate.” Parish also mentioned that tickets are now on sale and early registration is encouraged.

This is the first year of the Brighton Boots and Brews Pub Crawl and a large turnout is expected. Preregistration is essential and early bird and group discounts are currently being offered.
