Vet Fest - FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Vet Fest is a free event for active duty, retired, or military veterans and their immediate family members.
The veteran in your immediate family will be required to show one of the following for your group's entry into the event: Department of Defense ID, VA ID, Veteran ID Card, Veteran designation on a state issued driver's license, DD-214
Strollers are welcome at the event. We just ask that you be courteous near the resource tables so that others can walk freely by you.
Parking is available free of charge. If a handicap spot is needed, please show permit to one of the parking volunteers and they will assist you on where to park.
Please leave your pets at home. Only certified service dogs will be allowed at Vet Fest. Service dogs will be working, and we ask that you please do not distract them with pets or untrained animals. Please also advise your children not to pet these working dogs.
Vet Fest is designed to connect veterans with their benefits. VETLIFE provides these services at no cost for veteran families. Providing these services to extended (nonmilitary family members) increases our costs and do not allow us to continue to offer these services free of charge.
Prizes will only be awarded to active duty and veterans in attendance. Family members are not eligible. You will be asked to provide proof of service before being awarded highly valued prizes.
Prizes will be announced on the main stage every hour and conclude at 3:00 PM. You must be present to win. See prize schedule for more details and information.
Everything at Vet Fest is completely free of charge for veterans and their immediate family. The only optional items for purchase at the event are merchandise sold by VETLIFE, alcoholic beverages (for those 21 and older with a valid ID), as well as the option to purchase additional meals from the food trucks beyond your complementary meals. Cash, Venmo, and PayPal are accepted methods of payment.
You can make a donation when reserving your tickets or you may also make a tax-deductible donation on the VETLIFE website by visiting www.vetlifetoday.org/donate
Proactive weather monitoring is undertaken each year. The event is generally held rain or shine, however in the event of severe conditions such as thunderstorms, flash flooding, tornado watch, or other significant weather advisories VETLIFE may cancel or temporarily postpone.
Tickets are delivered to your email shortly after you register. If you registered but haven’t received your tickets, please check your spam or junk email folder—sometimes they can end up there by mistake.
