No. Battle Buddy is developed by VETLIFE and is not affiliated with the VA. It was created by veterans and a veteran spouse to make it easier for military and veteran families to find benefits, resources, and support.
This is usually due to an outdated browser, weak internet connection, or unsupported device settings. Try refreshing the page or switching browsers.
No. While Battle Buddy is built for veterans, we also welcome veteran spouses, children, and caregivers. We recognize that family members often play a key role in helping veterans access benefits and support, which is why Battle Buddy includes resources for them as well—such as healthcare information, caregiver support, education resources, and more.
Battle Buddy is designed primarily for United States service members, veterans, and their families, as many of the resources, benefits, and support tools are U.S.-based.
However, users outside the U.S. can still access Battle Buddy through a mobile or desktop browser at battlebuddyapp.vetlifetoday.org. Some features—particularly those tied to federal or state benefits—may be limited depending on your location and settings.
Chat with Sam is available 24/7 to help guide you to benefits and resources. You can ask questions, find what you need, and get help that fits your current situation.
Only minimal data needed to improve performance and functionality is used. We do not sell user data.
If you are in crisis or need immediate assistance, contact 911 or the Veterans Crisis Line at 988 (Press 1 in the U.S.).
